MyChurch is a unique Christian Education program for children, ages 2-11. The academic integrity is of the highest standards while compelling participation and enthusiasm with Bible stories, games, music, contests, prizes and creative imagination. Each session is fast paced fun from start to finish. The core values of the program teach that we are born in the image of God with a Divine capacity for compassion, empathy and love. Our present theme is Being God's People, and students are taught stories from the Old and New Testaments of the Bible, on a schedule that allows for seasonable celebrations around Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Although there is mature oversight in the curriculum and structure, it is teens and young adults that interface with the children, while preteens are also encouraged to help teach, act out stories and assist younger children with crafts and games. Children often use their imaginations as the whole group passes through the Pretend Time Travel Tunnel to meet younger characters (in costume with period appropriate fictional life stories) from the Bible stories. It helps the children see the Bible events through a child's eyes. Everyone feels valued, loved and included, while learning about the love and holiness of God.
